AGE DEFYING BEAUTIFUL - By MARY ANN CADORNA October 14, 2015
The big question is can we get back our youthful skin? When
life has taken its toll and our face wears like the lines we've had to cross,
the cracks we've had to step on and the hard roads we've had to travel! Then
one day we look in the mirror and say wow, where was that face that used to be
me?
You see, it's not all lost, you have entered a time where
life did not take you out, and you can still be counted in. Reflect on all your
accomplishments, the people you've loved, nurtured, and taken care of, the
lives you've changed/touched because you were here on this earth to make a
difference for them.
Mindset can change your life? Be more determined than ever
to achieve, it's never too late to pursue what eluded you because life got in
the way. If you are mentally weak work on daily affirmations that will make you
strong, I say "be older and bolder"! You can defy your age, by taking
hold and be bold!
Ah, but we still have our bodies to contend with! It's never
too late to exercise, however, caveat is don't take up Zumba or hard cardio if
you haven't worked out or exercised in a long time. Take it slow and steady,
better than fast and hurt, then you'll really have to take it slow!
Getting back to the face issue, you have to love who you
are. When you look in the mirror you have to like that person under your skin
and learn to be grateful too! What has
made me like my face now days is the age defying night cream Nerium. They say
"give Nerium a year and it will give you back ten years!" Well, I am
the brand-trend tester, or as I joke "the crash test dummy” for all that
is trending. But all joking aside, it has boldly taking my skin where it has
never gone before. So, I am committed to giving Nerium one year and if I can be
like my photo above and not have to rely on make up to have beautiful skin then
I'm in!
As far as my spirit, I’m free of encumbrances and
obligations, and that is a place I have earned with love. I've “earned the burn”
of my freedom if you will, by doing what's right, taking care of those
significant people in our lives even if they didn't do right by me. Not hurting
anyone, and living a life of principal and integrity, working towards the ideal
and to making it real.
I take all the aforementioned, and work to live a life of
purpose, to defy the stereo type of getting old to getting bold. Earning my
wings in this life has not been easy, but now that I have, I can fly like a
free spirit, ready, willing and able to see how I can continue to make a
difference buy being bolder and older!
